VISION : To achieve better opportunities for people with disabilities and their families.
AIM : To help the person with a disability to have a better life by advocating for each person and his/her family. To enable people with disabilities to access their community and achieve better education, service provision and employment opportunities by advocating for the person or/and their family to fully participate in decision making and to work together with professionals as true partners.
To get our help you must be eligible or registered with Disabilities SA, Novita or Autism SA. FAI can assist you to register with these services.

Vale Michael Wooley
It is with sadness that we heard of the passing of Michael Wooley a long time supporter of Family Advocacy's mission. Michael passed away on 2 May 2013. He served on the Board of FAI for 15 years and held the positions of Secretary and Public Officer during that time.
Michael was awarded Inaugural Life Membership to Family Advocacy in November 2012 in recognition of long and valuable service to FAI board and members.
